We are two moms connecting moms, communities and companies.

Back to school that is… I was doing a happy dance yesterday when my brood set off on their first day of Grade 7, Grade 9 and Grade 12.  After all the breakfasts were made, lunches packed, hair checked and re-checked (*wink to my second daughter) and pictures were finally taken, I said good by to my kids and then to my husband and sat down for some good old, peaceful, carefree ‘me time’.

HA… that is all I have to say to that.

When you are an entrepreneur, you are never alone doing nothing…NEVER. EVER.

What I did do was to start considering how our schedules have changed this year and what routines we need to establish.  What sort of routine do you have getting your kids out the door? Do you make meal plans for the week? Do you have a blogging schedule that you work off of? Do you schedule grocery shopping, exercise & ‘free’ time in your calendar?

As a professional organizer getting into a regular routine and scheduling tasks (work and family-wise) is very important.  It is the number one tip that I give clients: make things routine, find a place for everything and everything it its place.  Organizing really is about scheduling and routines.

On LinkedMoms tonight, we will be discussing the beauty of getting back to a routine, tips on how to create better routines in the morning, when kids get home from school and preparing for the next day.

We will also be discussing ways to maximize your ‘work from home’ schedule.  Do you work best first thing in the morning? Do you work from an electronic calendar, a paper planner or a combination of both (like I do).

Please join us on #LinkedMoms Chat and tell us about your schedules and routines.
